Both projects were over a year in gestation. The whole process from formal submissions to the UK regulators through to formal authorisation was managed efficiently and both companies were trading within 4 months of submitting the application and capital model.

The Fire and Rescue Authorities Mutual Limited (trading from 1 July 2007)
